SYDNEY (HOST) Lions Club

District 201N5, New South Wales, Australia

About Us

The Lions Club of Sydney Inc (Host) has been serving the Community of Sydney for over 60 years.

Our Club Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, 169 Castlereagh Street, Sydney.  The meeting commences at 12.30 pm and we usually have lunch in the 2nd floor cafe area following our meeting.  If you would like to join us please contact us prior to the meeting so that we can advise you concerning the formal arrangements.

Our members come from suburbs all over Sydney and from a diverse range of ethnicities and backgrounds.

We encourage you to come to one of our Club Meetings to meet some of our members and see how you can assist in continuing our work in the City of Sydney area.

We primarily raise funds by conducting BBQ's and selling Christmas Cakes and Puddings. However, we are open to alternative ways to raise funds and undertake new projects.

Lions Clubs are part of community life, in the cities and in the country. Clubs are easily identified by their distinctive Logo, the trademark of our International Association, and the 'We Serve'; motto.

Lions Australia is part of an international association, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm and energy.

Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing.

Every Lions Club is a little different. Each has its own mix of activities and meetings.

We invite you to listen to some short audio messages about Lions Clubs.
